TRAINING &
PLACEMENT CELL :
On successful completion of the course the Institute
helps the students in placements by inviting companies for campus
interviews and arranging the interviews of the students in various
companies. The Institute has a well - equipped Training and Placement
Cell, which is regularly in touch with the corporates and keeps
on informing the students about the different developments and requirements
in various industrial sectors and companies.
The Placements at the Institute is a result of very
systematic interaction with the industry and continuous career counseling
to the students. Right from the inception of the programme, each
student is very consciously counseled with regards to his/her career
aspirations and options, which in turn is very vigorously followed
up with the potential companies for participating in the placement
programme of the Institute. This not only helps the students in
getting their ‘dream’ job but also assists the visiting companies
in identifying the ‘right’ candidate for their organization.
PRE-PLACEMENT TALK (PPT):
PPT provides an opportunity to the recruiting company
and the students to interact with each other. The presentation by
the company regarding the history, growth potential, future opportunities,
and jobs available (content, compensation package, location, etc.)
PPT also provides a company with opportunity to recruit the first
year students for summer training assignments.
CONDUCTING THE FINAL SELECTION :
The company is requested to inform the Training
and Placement Officer regarding the recruitment procedure. It should include
information on the size for Group Discussion, number of rounds of
Interviews, etc. The company will inform the Training and Placement
Officer about the final selection of the candidates.
Once the response form has been received from the company, the Placement
Cell will make arrangements for the PPT, final selection and inform
company of the same.
FACILITIES FOR RECRUITERS :
State of the art air-conditioned seminar hall equipped
with multimedia and audio-visual equipment, boardrooms for group
discussions, rooms for conducting interviews.
